We’re Swift

Our story

Swift is a specialist, independent agency that lets and manages the southwest London properties of owners who live abroad or far from their property. It was born in 2010 when Daniel Lees, a landlord himself, offered to look after the southwest London flat of a friend who was moving to South Africa.

Without spending a single pound on marketing, Swift grew quietly from a loft in Twickenham as one client after another recommended our service. Since then owners in 13 countries across 5 continents, from America to Nepal, have trusted us to look after some their London homes. Daniel has written an Amazon No1 bestselling book to share his knowledge — The Accidental Landlord: The keys to letting out your property with complete peace of mind.

It all boils down to trust. Who can you trust to look after the London home you have lived in — and love — if you move to the other side of the world? With more than 140 laws and regulations on letting, using the wrong agent can cost you thousands of pounds in lost rent or property damage. Traditional agents often charge high fees upfront so lack the incentive to manage proactively.

Instead of high-street shops or branded cars, Swift invest in high-calibre people who work together in a virtual office. That means we do more without charging more. Our fees are fair and clear — taken monthly, only after your tenants have paid their rent, for exceptional service all the time. We’ve resolved thousands of callouts — once even needing to rescue a pet python from a leak. And we listen to your needs, so we can find the best tenant for you. (We know you don’t want to let your property to just anyone. After all, it’s not just a cold investment.)

Throughout, we act with complete integrity. Just ask our clients, who keep giving us excellent Google reviews. It’s our job to give you peace of mind.

For me, the most important qualities of a property manager is integrity and trust, especially when we are over 9,000km from our property. On these grounds I would make Swift again my first choice.Jacques, Swift's first client
